Cover up and rework

Spike - Wanganui, New Zealand

Spike and I got together to talk about some work he had done a while back that needed reworking.  So far we have done cover ups, new designs and his goal is to be fully tattooed.  So well on our way to achieving that one mate.  Next we are tackling the legs.... clean canvas - let's get it done before I leave pleeeeeeeease

Thailand Trip

2009 I tripped over to Thailand and met a fellow tattooist.  'Gar' - nice guy, primo artist and after the normal meet and greet I walked away with this massive piece of work!!  Can't wait to go back and get it all finished - thanks man

Black & Grey Work - Alien

Richard Young of Wanganui, New Zealand

I met this guy about 15yrs ago when his canvas was clean - have been tattooing him ever since...  whole body just about done with black and grey work.  Good guy to work with and great to be able to experiment with different types of artwork ... no flash stencil work all freehand.

Thanks Ritchie

Black & Grey Work - fill in

Allan Dicen Jnr of Wanganui, New Zealand

Little bugger started early and just about covered... a chip off the old block.  Only difference is he loves his black & grey work and all freehand.

It's a bloody privilege to tattoo your own kid man... thanks son

Allan's Work

Study of a realistic skull

I decided to try out the Alla Prima colours in this piece of work.  Man I was really amazed with the affect - ink is easy to apply and heals fast.  Also once it is healed the colour stays as effective as if you have just done the work.

Those guys know what they're doing!!
